DCJ’s story began over a century ago.
On June 10, 1920, hundreds of Delawareans gathered with a bold vision: to reform a justice system rooted in punishment—not fairness. From that vision came the Prisoners’ Aid Society—what we now know as the Delaware Center for Justice.
For 105 years, we’ve never stopped showing up.
And now, as we look to the future, we’re proud to launch our 105th Anniversary Giving Campaign. Our goal: raise $1.5 million to strengthen our programs, expand our reach, and ensure justice for all Delawareans.
We’re inviting 105 early Justice Sponsors to lead the way by giving $1,500 or more by August 31st.

- Grow reentry services so more people come home with stability.
- Expand youth programs to keep young people out of the justice system.
